How we compare Cairns real estate agents
This site is run on behalf of Tony Williamson, an agent with REMAX Powerhouse. It does not rank agents. It explains how to compare them, and lists agencies alphabetically.
Who runs this site?
The site is run by Cairns IT Guy for Tony Williamson, real estate agent and auctioneer with REMAX Powerhouse. Tony pays for the site, and it promotes his services. Appraisal requests sent through this site go only to Tony. About Tony on tonywilliamson.com.au
Why is Tony featured?
Tony is labelled “Featured agent” because this site is run for him. He is not featured because he came first in a comparison. We do not publish rankings, scores or “best agent” lists.
What do we compare?
- How to choose: the five things we suggest every seller compares between agents: recent local sales, days on market, fees and marketing cost, communication and reviews.
- Agency list: agencies with a Cairns-region office, by name and office suburb, in alphabetical order. We do not compare their fees or results.
- Suburb figures: median prices and average days on market by suburb, so you can test what agents tell you.
- Fees: published average commission figures, with their sources.
Where does the data come from?
- Agency list: Domain agency directory pages for Cairns North, Trinity Beach, Woree and Redlynch, checked 20 October 2026. It shows only agencies on the first page of results for those suburbs, so it is not complete.
- Suburb prices and days on market: Domain suburb profiles, based on sales in the last 12 months, checked on the date shown on each page.
- Market figures: Spachus, Cairns Property Market, November 2026; The Buyers Co., Cairns real estate update, Q3 2026.
- Commission: OpenAgent, Cairns real estate agents, October 2026; PropertyNow, Real estate agent commission by state, updated 16 October 2026. Both are commercial services with an interest in this topic.

How often is it updated?
Figures are checked monthly, in the first week of the month. Every page shows its last updated date. If you spot an error, or your agency is missing from the list, email tonywilliamson@remax.com.au and we will correct it.
